Doesn’t it cost more in total?
Not necessarily. Over 24 months, paying in instalments costs 20% more than paying all at once, that is, €280 more for the one-page site and €560 more for the full website, excl. VAT. But if you renew every year, you only pay for 12 months of each website. That means half price per website, and a new website every year. If you would rather pay all at once, that works too.
Where can I get a website at a fixed monthly price?
At Akari, with Phoenix. You get a finished website from €70 a month over 24 months, plus upkeep from €30 a month, all excl. VAT. First we make a free draft, so you see the website before you decide.
How much does a website cost for a small business?
A one-page site costs from €1,400 paid all at once, or from €70 a month over 24 months. With upkeep, that’s from €100 a month. A full website with several pages costs from €2,800 all at once, or from €140 a month, and with upkeep from €205 a month. All prices are excl. VAT.
What’s included in the price?
A meeting with a designer, a design made for your business, a mobile-friendly website, a contact form and basic set-up for Google. Upkeep covers keeping the site up and secure, and making sure the forms work.
What happens after 12 and 24 months?
After 12 months you can choose to renew. Your website then gets a new life, and you start a new 24-month period at the same monthly price. The rest of the old period falls away, so you never pay for two websites at once. The price is only adjusted for general price rises. Renewing is always optional.
If you don’t renew, your website is paid off after 24 months, and from then on you pay upkeep only. When you renew, you can upgrade from the one-page site to the full website, at the full website price, and we’ll have a chat about what you need.
A new life comes with the instalment plan. If you paid all at once, you have no lock-in and can order a new website whenever you like. Then you can choose instalments, and your website gets a new life from then on.
Can I get a new website every year?
Yes. After 12 months you can renew, and your website gets a new life. You commit to 24 new months but pay the same every month. So if you renew every year, each website costs half as much.
What’s new when the website gets a new life?
It’s up to you. Your website can get a new, up-to-date design, or we keep the design you have. Either way, we build it on the latest version of Akari Engine and carry out a thorough review of speed, security, SEO and visibility in AI answers, accessibility and privacy. We also check that the content is up to date, and you get a short report on what we’ve done.
Who makes the website, and how long does it take?
Our team at Akari builds the website in Akari Engine. After a short chat you get a draft within a few working days. Once you’ve approved it, we agree when the website will be ready.
What’s the difference between Akari Engine and Phoenix?
Akari Engine is the platform your website runs on. Phoenix is the subscription agreement for your website.
Why do the prices say “from”?
Because websites differ. The prices cover what most businesses need. If you need more, it can cost more, and you’ll get the price before you decide. Upkeep has a fixed price: €25, €30 or €65 a month.
What does it cost to edit the site myself?
Editing with our CMS is an add-on at €25 a month and can be added to every package. Without the CMS, we make the changes for you.
Do I own the website?
Yes. You own the website and the content. When the agreement ends, you get the website files. If you want to move the site, we’ll give you a separate price for helping with the move.
What happens if I want to stop?
With instalments, you give notice at least 3 months before the lock-in period ends. Everything then ends at the same time, and you get the website files. Without instalments, you can cancel upkeep with 3 months’ notice.
Can the price change along the way?
The instalments are fixed for the whole period. We can adjust upkeep once a year. When your website gets a new life, you get a new agreement, and the price can then be adjusted for general price rises.
How is Phoenix different from Wix or a freelancer?
You don’t have to build anything yourself, and you don’t depend on one person. We make the site, look after it and take responsibility for it.
